julie and paul got married on a gorgeous fall day at the coto de caza golf and racquet club. their joy was absolutely contagious and every guest had a smile on their face as they watched them declare their love to each other.

i loved how they encouraged their guests to join in the british tradition of wearing fascinators!

kalin+matt {married}

what can i possibly say about these two? i love them to pieces and to see them finally get hitched was so freaking awesome. kalin and matt had visited maui many times together before matt asked kalin to marry him after they jumped off a waterfall (yes, totally true and totally romantic!). after that, they knew that they wanted an intimate wedding in one of their favorite places. they were surrounded by their closest friends and loved ones and we all had an absolute blast. this is a photo-packed blog post, so sit back and get your scrolling finger ready.

after spending the day before their wedding at big beach with 20 of their guests, they had a hula dancer and fire eater at their rehearsal dinner.

the next morning, matt and his groomsmen hiked back to that same waterfall that he asked kalin to be his wife.

back at the paia house, kalin and the bridesmaids (can you spot me?) got pretty and put the finishing touches on all the details kalin had spent months putting together. i’ll let the images tell the rest of the story.

kalin+matt, preston and i are so extremely blessed to know you and call you our friends. here’s to many more years of chicken eggs, beach days, good news, bad news and [sparks] of love all around.

remember this growing family? well, they are expecting a little girl in a couple of weeks! yep, that’s two girls from two sisters! i absolutely love this family and it’s so fun to see how much jacob has grown! the matching toms shoes were so adorable!

congrats amanda and tim! i can’t wait to meet your little girl and i hope you’re enjoying your new niece!

julie and paul found me through julie’s sister, who was a fellow Bruin. when we were discussing their engagement session plans, they invited both preston and me to dinner on their family duffy boat in newport harbor. we had such a fun time wandering around corona del mar at five crowns and cruising the harbor for dinner. i loved hearing their story and julie’s laugh is just contagious!
